Alice Gutierrez, MA, LMFT-A

Alice Gutierrez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A). She is an active member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), a national professional organization.

Alice Gutierrez has been with the Family Enrichment Clinic for three years providing family/couple, individual, and group therapy services. She works with clients of diverse ethnicities, ages, and genders. Her therapeutic approach is solution and goal-focused, family therapy-based, behavioral and client-centered.

As a native of El Salvador, who came to the U.S. as a child, Alice can conduct therapy fluently in English and Spanish. Her cultural background has helped Alice understand and become effective in working through acculturation and generation gap issues in families. Alice also has extensive experience working with childhood disorders, specifically autism and PDD (pervasive developmental disorder). This experience has helped Alice understand and treat families with children who are on the autism spectrum.
